Superior CO Homes for SaleSuperior, Colorado received its name from miners for the "superior" quality of coal mined in the area. This area is still red-hot, but not from coal; this is a town on the move, redefining the tiny town it once was to a bustling destination.

Nestled between the Boulder County Foothills and Highway 36, Superior offers a quick getaway to Colorado's foothills or onto Boulder County's main artery to larger cities. 27 miles of trails allow for biking, running, hiking, or stroller pushing; you can even trail run or mountain bike into Boulder or Louisville via the Coal Creek Trail, Rock Creek Trail, or Coalton Trailhead.  Superior is within the Boulder Valley School District and has consistently high "Great Schools" city ratings.

The Superior community has varying choices of homes for sale. The town's largest residential development is known as Rock Creek Ranch, with over 2,700 single family and 1,800 multi-family homes. The face of the town is changing with construction of the new master planned Downtown Superior area.  Newer neighborhoods include Calmante and Remington at Coal Creek Crossing. More housing choices are changing the Superior real estate scene.  New neighborhoods and additional inventory have created a median home price of $510,250 in the first quarter of 2018, down 15% from the same period in 2017.
