Superior, Colorado received its name from miners for the "superior" quality of coal mined in the area. This area is still red-hot, but not from coal; this is a community on the move, redefining the tiny town it once was to a bustling community.

Nestled between the Boulder County Foothills and Highway 36, Superior offers a quick getaway to Colorado's mountains or onto the main highway artery between Denver and Boulder.

Get out! 27 miles of trails allow for biking, running, hiking, or stroller pushing. You can even travel into Boulder or Louisville via the Coal Creek Trail, Rock Creek Trail, or Coalton Trailhead if you want to leave the car behind. Multiple sports are served by the Sports Stable, a massive facility with courts, a fieldhouse, ice rink, and gym studio space. The Sports Stable even provides a restaurant and bar for post-game comaraderie.

Located just across Highway 36, Superior feels very much like a sister city to Louisville. I live next door in Louisville; Superior is a large part of my area of expertise. The community has broad options of homes for sale. The town’s largest residential development is known as Rock Creek Ranch, with over 2,700 single family and 1,800 multi-family homes.
