We were searching for an agent in the Louisville, CO area to sell the property and saw Mary Ellen Wood who's actively selling the properties in the Louisville area. We were very impressed with her reviews which were written by other clients. Immediately I called and spoke to her and was struck by her pleasing manner and extensive knowledge of the Louisville community. She has done a great job in researching and with a market analysis of the property before finalizing the price and placing it on the market. She exceeded our expectations on every level. We noticed that she went above and beyond in representing us when we are working with multiple offers. She was absolutely the best and very quick to respond to all my e-mails and phone calls. She is an awesome person, has the knowledge and experience to work with any real estate venture. One of the best things about Mary Ellen was that she worked around our schedules and has a lot of patience in answering all of our questions. There was a time that she had to drive to my home to bring the offer that comes in the late evening. with that, we felt that her service is beyond the time of sale. We had several offers from agents, she was very patient with us and even helped us in making a final decision when we were presented with several options. On the day of closing the property, Mary Ellen wrote a beautiful hand-written letter and presented it to us along with a bouquet of flowers which was awesome! We would use Mary Ellen again in the future if we were to sell or buy the property and strongly recommend her to anyone who's out there either buying or selling the property. Thank you, Mary Ellen!

I don't usually write reviews, but Mary Ellen deserves some more good words for her hard work and help in finding a home for our family. We had the difficult task of looking for a house from out of state, and Mary Ellen was invaluable in helping us through the process, including lining up an array of price- and location-appropriate properties for us to view during our one and only house-hunting visit to Colorado. She was wonderful to work with and took into account our preferences and limitations throughout. We ended up closing on the perfect place, after almost losing it to higher bidders. Despite the fact that the housing market on Colorado's front range can be quite lucrative, she handled everything adeptly and professionally. When the higher bidder backed out at the last minute, Mary Ellen immediately worked to resubmit our bid and we managed to move right into our new house after our move. Couldn't have done it without her. Additionally, she has gone beyond our expectations and has stayed in touch throughout our two and a half years here to make sure we are still loving the house (we are). She goes out of her way to send seasonal gifts to the doorstep, which shows how much she appreciates her clients. I highly recommend working with Mary Ellen. She's a good person and really cares about finding the right place!

Mary Ellen was exactly what we needed as first-time homebuyers. She was patient and thorough when walking us through the process, had a long list of local vendors for all of our needs (lenders, inspection, etc), and was entirely honest with us when we were looking at properties. If she thought there were issues with a house she wouldn't sugarcoat it and I never felt like she was pushing us to buy before we were ready. We were looking throughout Boulder County and she made sure we could see multiple houses on each trip, regardless of how far apart, to ensure we didn't miss anything especially given COVID-19 restrictions with no open houses. She always had extra gloves for us and made us feel comfortable about viewings even during a pandemic. The house we ended up buying was one that had been on the market a while and we hadn't considered based on its online presence but after listening to our comments at other houses (too small, too dark, too far from anything, etc.) she recognized it would be a great fit. My husband and I are so grateful to Mary Ellen for helping us buy our first house in Louisville. We were a little anxious about looking at houses during the time of COVID but she was well prepared with gloves and hand sanitizer, and she always wore a mask and kept a good distance so we felt comfortable. She patiently showed us many houses in different areas and quickly got a feel for what we liked, so much so that she was able to set up a showing for a house the day it went on the market before we'd even seen the listing. It ended up being the one, and we might not have been able to put an offer on it fast enough if she hadn't known us so well and taken the initiative! Within three days we were under contract. She was extremely helpful in guiding us through the home buying process, helping us with paperwork. We couldn't have asked for better support and felt well looked after while we were negotiating the price and the inspection resolution.
